Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

This time we’re going to speak to you about something that’s hitting close to home, the virus, and how it is affecting relationships all over the world. Yeah, we just happened to have a couple here that separated because one can’t get back home to the other due to the virus. It’s because the flights were canceled

My guest Angela Dillon came to Chicago from Dallas, two weeks ago in the beginning of the pandemic, really didn’t know what was going on. It wasn’t really being spoken about or there were no bans or anything. It was just affecting one or two states at the time. And since I’ve been here, it’s been kind of crazy and my flight was supposed to leave out today.

And then I got a text message that said that midway airport has been shut down and no more flights will be gone out today. Now it’s been two weeks I’ve been away from your husband, right?

I was getting ready to go pick up my wife and I get this call. This is honey. They changed my flight, excuse me babe what are talking talking about, they shut down the Airport.

I was anticipating her arrival after being gone for two weeks. I was so giddy. I wanted to have my wife back, and have my life back.

I missed her tremendously. I’ve been here in Dallas by myself.  I’m not used to it. It’s just she and myself in the house. And, I kinda run out of things to do. And then the fact there’s no sports on TV doesn’t help either.
